Toy Story 1&2 3D Double Feature trailer/clip finally releases. For the next two weeks, Toy Story 1 and 2 screen back-to-back. This Toy Story double feature will not only put the beloved toys in a whole new dimension, but serve as a test run for their next romp in 2010.

The Toy Story double feature will screen in Disney Digital 3D for the next two weeks, ending on October 16. Pretty much every new CGI animated movie this year has been put in 3D, including Pixar’s own Up, and the current box office champ Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. So its only fitting that the movies that started the CGI animation subgenre finally go into 3D.

About Toy Story:

Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated family/buddy film. Old-fashioned cowboy doll Woody is coordinating a reconnaissance mission around his owner Andy’s birthday party in the days before Andy’s family move to their new house. To Woody’s dismay, Andy receives a new action figure in the form of space ranger Buzz Lightyear, whose impressive features soon see Buzz replacing Woody as Andy’s favorite toy. Woody, the former de facto leader of Andy’s toys, is disappointed and resentful at his replacement. Meanwhile, Buzz does not understand that he is a toy, and believes himself to be an actual space ranger, seeing Woody as an interference in his ‘mission’ to return to his home planet.
