Florida coach Urban Meyer has suspended Brandon Spikes for the first half of Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt after the star linebacker attempted to gouge the eyes of Georgia running back Washaun Ealey in a 41-17 victory.

Spikes got his helmet ripped off twice by Georgia offensive players early in the game, and it seems Spikes took his retaliation out on Georgia running back Washaun Ealey with a possible eye gouge. Spikes definitely reached into Ealey’s helmet and grabbed. (Orlandosentinel)
