Chinese basketball player Yao Ming was born on September 12, 1980 in Shanghai, China, known as the tallest player in the NBA today, stands at 7′6 ft(2.26m) who plays for the Houston Rockets since 2002 and he was the 1st overall draft pick. He was married to Ye Li, a former player for the China women’s national basketball team.
