Posted by: | CommentsJennifer Hudson are both hosting holiday specials on ABC. Oprah’s special is called “Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special” and Jennifer Hudson will light up “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll be Home for Christmas.”
“It hurts me so when I see people like, ‘Whatever, Christmas is just another day,’” the self-proclaimed “holiday fanatic” Jennifer told PEOPLE over the phone Friday. “I’m that person who’s going to go over there and get you into the holiday spirit. And that’s how I’ve always been.”
But according to reports from people.com, as excited as she is to share this Christmas with all her fans, there is one person in particular that Jennifer simply can’t wait to spend it with. And the person that I am talking about is her 4-month old son David Daniel Otunga Jr.

Not surprisingly, David Otunga Jr. (named after Jennifer’s fiance David Otunga), looks very precious and sleepy. According to Hudson, he loves lullabies, sleeping and eating, and she couldn’t be happier about her new role as Mom.
“My baby is my proudest moment,” says the 28-year-old singer and actress. “There are so many things, but of course he comes first.”
Jennifer recently went through an unthinkable tragedy when her mother, brother and nephew were killed just last year. But with her new baby joy and the love and support from fiancé David Otunga, Jennifer is moving forward. She was beaming at an event in New York City to celebrate the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz where she opened up to Life & Style about the joy of motherhood.
Jennifer Hudson is set to make her television comeback with her own ABC Christmas special, Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas, airing in December.
