Developers have wasted no time in creating scripts for Google Plus, adding to the thousands of scripts for that exist for popular sites such as Twitter, Facebook and others.

These scripts can do all sorts of useful things, like adding links to your favourite MP3 store in Last.fm or hiding YouTube comments to stop you wanting to poke your eyes out. There’s an amazing amount of Greasemonkey scripts out there and you can now use them on your Android phone.

But right now, this new version doesn’t support Firefox 6,7,8, hopefully, they will update it soon.

Today marks the 57th anniversary of the first patent of the barcode. Google’s latest doodle, a barcode on the place of its name on its homepage has brought an important aspect of our daily lives to our attention. We must thank Google for reminding us those small things that make a whole lot of difference in our lives, with our least knowledge.

Barcode was patented by Norman Woodland and Bernard Silver, who sold the patent before the industry standard UPC ever took off. The Telegraph has a nice history piece here as does HowStuffworks.
